Freight forwarding company, TVG-Zimsen will once again provide freight and lifting services to the Icelandic Fisheries & Aquaculture Exhibition and Conference (IceFish), enabling those essential services to run smoothly for exhibitors in the run up to, and at the event.
As a valued Partner TVG-Zimsen will also be showcasing its comprehensive services at the Exhibition and will benefit from inclusion in IceFish’s extensive national and international marketing campaigns.
TVG-Zimsen is an international freight forwarding company that offers all services related to importing and exporting, and a full range of transit services around the world. TVG-Zimsen is affiliated with major transport companies around the world, utilizing the broad service networks and logistics systems of its partners.
The company can trace its roots back to the early 1930’s when founder Jes Zimsen started an independent company for ship handling. TVG-Zimsen was created when Tollvörugeymslsan hf. and Skipaafgreiðsla Jes Zimsen merged in 1996.
Over the years TVG-Zimsen has greatly strengthened its position abroad and the company operates agencies in Aarhus in Denmark, Hamburg in Germany, Rotterdam and Amsterdam in the Netherlands and in New York in the United States.
In addition to its traditional freight forwarding, emphasis has since been placed on offering specialised services on special projects. Among the projects there are services for film production in Iceland, services for the pharmaceutical market and "cross-trade" services for the foreign operations of Icelandic companies.
On its 20th anniversary in 2016, TVG-Zimsen became the leading freight forwarding company in Iceland with four main areas of focus: Sea and air, domestic, special projects and agency services.
IceFish looks forward to working with TVG-Zimsen's in its 30th anniversary year.
