ICEFISH AWARDS

What: Recognising the depth of excellence in the Icelandic commercial fishing and aquaculture industry.
One of the highlights of IceFish is the Icelandic Fisheries & Aquaculture Awards, which recognise outstanding achievements within the fishing, aquaculture and seafood sectors. First introduced in 1999, the awards are now considered a benchmark of excellence.
The 2024 ceremony held special significance, honouring the long-standing exhibitors who had been present since the first IceFish. Companies recognised included Atlas, Baader, Marel, Saeplast and other internationally renowned institutions that have played a defining role in the industry.
New categories will be introduced in 2026 to reflect the evolving achievements of Iceland's commercial fishing sector.
