IceFish welcomes Irish Seafood Development Agency
IceFish is delighted to welcome the Irish Seafood Development Agency as a supporter of both the IceFish exhibition and conferences.
Bord Iascaigh Mhara (BIM) is Ireland’s Seafood Development Agency and the national body responsible for supporting the sustainable growth and development of the Irish seafood sector.
Established in 1952, BIM works across fisheries, aquaculture, seafood processing, and coastal communities, providing technical expertise, business support, training, innovation programmes, and funding opportunities.
Through its focus on sustainability, skills development, and market competitiveness, BIM plays a vital role in strengthening Ireland’s blue economy while ensuring that seafood resources are managed responsibly for future generations.
As the industry continues to evolve, BIM remains at the forefront of driving innovation, environmental stewardship, and economic growth throughout Ireland’s seafood sector.
BIM will be leading a delegation to IceFish in 2026 with members attending the 100% Fish for Profit conference and enjoying the networking opportunities with the IceFish exhibitors.
