Industrial technology specialist ifm is using IceFish 2026 to showcase its system solutions and connect with customers from across Iceland’s fisheries and aquaculture industry.
Speaking on the second day of the exhibition, ifm Sales Manager Kurt Aakjær Jakobsen said the company had been encouraged by the strong interest in its technologies, while noting the significant development he had seen in the Icelandic industry since his previous visit.
The exhibition has also provided an opportunity for ifm to reconnect with long-standing customers and meet new contacts, with Jakobsen highlighting the company’s expertise in areas including vibration monitoring, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), energy management and IO-Link, alongside its moneo IIoT platform.
