Landia is exhibiting in the Danish Pavilion at this year’s IceFish.
The company has launched a highly innovative new fish silage system for demanding environments where hygiene, reliability and process stability are crucial. It is designed as a complete all-in-one solution.
A robust and intelligent system that ensures constant and long-term silage quality, the new PowerEnsiler is based on Landia’s vast hands-on experience in the aquaculture industry.
Focusing on fast, efficient flow, and integrated cutting (all managed from a single control system for both the ensiling tank and the storage tank), the superior hygiene-focused design of the PowerEnsiler ensures maximum biosecurity.
All critical components are manufactured by Landia which was established in 1933. Installations therefore benefit from full compatibility, transparency and responsibility, from a single source.
Available in tank sizes from 1m3 to 25m3, the system’s vessels can be supplied in polyethylene (PE) or acid-resistant AISI-316 stainless steel, including ATEX-approved configurations.
The PowerEnsiler includes the proven Landia Chopper Pump, the world’s first ever chopper pump, invented by the company in 1950. Manufactured in AISI-316 stainless steel, it provides top protection against the typically low pH levels found in fish silage.
The unrivalled efficiency and effectiveness of the Landia Chopper Pump’s knife system also means that there is no need for external grinders. The pump’s knives consistently macerate fish heads, bones, guts and skin into a unformed, homogenous, pumpable and valuable silage for use as a high-protein animal feed, and as an organic liquid fertilizer.
