HD ehf. will participate in the 2026 IceFish, which will take place at Fífan in Kópavogur from 22 to 24 September 2026.
The company will present its comprehensive industrial and technical services for the seafood and aquaculture industry, with an emphasis on operational safety, preventive maintenance and solutions that minimize downtime in demanding operating environments.
In addition to general metal technology, HD's focus areas include condition monitoring and diagnostics of machinery, ship repairs, steel fabrication, mechanical engineering and equipment solutions. The company will also present how new technologies, including continuous monitoring, artificial intelligence and condition-driven maintenance, can be used to detect deviations early and support more targeted maintenance and increased operational safety.
HD was recently honoured with the Knowledge Award from the Icelandic Business and Economics Association (FVH) for building specialized knowledge and developing technical solutions in Icelandic industry. This recognition reflects the company's focus on innovation, expertise and solutions that support increased operational security and value creation in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
