IceFish is delighted to welcome Vélar og Dælur ehf to the 2026 exhibition.
The company was founded in September 2023 by the couple Ingvar Hilmarsson and Vilborg Ragnarsdóttir.
It is a leading supplier of industrial equipment for aquaculture, fisheries and other industries in Iceland, offering high-quality solutions from leading manufacturers and spare parts for most pumps.
Ingvar is very experienced, working in pump repairs and sales of pumps, electric motors and other equipment for the past fifteen years. Vilborg has previously worked with her parents, Ragnar and Karen, in their respected business, Véli ehf.
At the end of August 2023, Ingvar and Vilborg decided to establish their own company, Vélar og Dælur ehf. The idea is to build Vélar og Dælur ehf as a trusted family business that is here to stay.
Today, both of their sons, Daníel Ingvarsson and Ragnar Ingvarsson, work for the company.
