The new Aquaculture Hub at IceFish is proving a success with high demand for exhibition spaces. The latest exhibitor is Swedish company, Amokabel.

Amokabel designs a wide range of cables tailored for the fish farming industry, where durability and adaptability are essential. Their solutions include the steel-armored AQUALine Power Flex, various hybrid cable designs, and the proprietary AmoExtreme, engineered for exceptionally demanding environments.

Amokabel’s engineering team develops customized cable solutions that address the challenges posed by new environmental regulations in the industry. It also has the capability to design complete cable systems that integrate power, signal, air, and oxygen—supporting applications such as power supply, feeding systems, communication, camera surveillance, and cleaning robots.

Production takes place in a modern facility, optimized for flexibility and rapid adaptation. This ensures short lead times, consistently high quality, and solutions precisely tailored to the unique needs of fish farming operations.

The Amokabel success story began in 1992 with the founding of its first company. By consistently focusing on technological development, modernization, and customer-specific solutions, it rapidly grew into a profitable and successful international cable manufacturer.

Today, the group includes several companies dedicated to cable manufacturing and distribution, as well as renewable energy production from solar, wind, and hydropower.

Its headquarters and main factory in Alstermo, Sweden covers a total production area of 32,000 m².
