Mighty pens from Gael Force

The Gael Force Group is an established supply partner of robust and reliable equipment, technology and services for the farming and catching of healthy, nutritious seafood.

Gael Force recently introduced the “SeaQurePen Ultra” - their latest resilient pen with galvanised steel brackets.

It has an extremely robust, rugged design, perfect for high performance in exposed, high-energy environments and comes in 450mm, 500mm, and 560mm floatation pipe sizes.

Key features of the SeaQurePen Ultra include circumference sizes varying from 120m to 200m and heavy-duty galvanised steel brackets offering strength, resilience and stability.

The pens are specifically designed to be tough and durable for exposure to challenging, high-energy environments. The tie-bar arrangement provides an improved load distribution into the pen structure.

The pen is also robust against impact, whilst remaining flexible in large waves.

FEA testing was carried out on bracket and pen components.

Full integral engineering analysis and modelling can be carried out for full pens, nets and moorings installation. The new pens also offer cost-effective design solutions for large-circumferences.

SeaQurePen Ultra offers an optional ‘plug and play’ net winch system which does not require on-site electrical engineer installation, reducing extra costs.
