The Canadian company is globally recognized as the leader in stay-in-place formwork and liner solutions and is now providing the Aquaculture industry with tanks that create the best environment for growing fish.
Octaform has worked with both Arnalax and First Water. For Arnalax four octagonal smolt tanks were installed, each measuring 12m in diameter and 4m in height. To improve water flow dynamics and fish health, these tanks were designed with rounded corners featuring a 600mm radius — a crucial design element that optimizes circulation and minimizes dead zones where waste can accumulate.
For the First Water Phase 1 development Octaform supplied multiple tanks built in parallel with efficient integration of essential system features like pipe penetrations and access points and enhanced tank durability with Octaform’s smooth, cleanable PVC liner, reducing maintenance.

Octaform can be integrated into anything from a simple grow-out tank to the most complex recirculating aquaculture system. The patented system assembles quickly without specialized labour or heavy equipment and is the only option that forms and protects tank walls in one step. The finish is built-in, eliminating the need for liners, cladding or sealants.
